2011 Women's Basketball Camps


Under the direction of head SBU women's basketball coach, Todd Voss, SBU Girls Basketball Camps offer an opportunity for young ladies to develop basketball skills and championship character.  The camp sessions offered include High School Team Shootout (June 5-7), Varsity One Day Team Shootout (June 8th), Junior Varsity One Day Team Shootout (June 18th), Young Players Camp (June 19-21), High School Individual Camp (June 21-22) and Junior High Shootout (June 23-25).


2011 Summer Camps

(Varsity & JV) Shootout: June 5th-7th
Two separate brackets for Varsity and JV teams. For teams competing in grades 9—12. Each school should have a mini-mum of eight players (we recommend 10) and one member of its high school’s basketball staff who will coach and su-pervise the team. Resident or commuter option.


One Day (Varsity) Shootout: June 8th
For Varsity teams competing in grades 9-12. Each school should have a minimum of eight players (we recommend 10) and one member of its high school’s basketball staff who will coach and supervise the team.


One Day (JV) Shootout: June 18th
For Junior Varsity teams competing in grades 9-12. Each school should have a minimum of eight players (we recom-mend 10) and one member of its high school’s basketball staff who will coach and supervise the team.

Young Players Camp: June 19th-21st
Players entering grades 5-8 are eligible for this camp. This camp will focus on individual offensive and defensive fun-damentals and character building. All players will be grouped according to age and ability. Resident or com-muter option.

High School Individual Camp: June 21st-22nd
Individual Camp is available for players entering grades 9-12. This camp emphasizes position work and shooting at an advanced level of teaching for players who want to take their game to the next level. Resident or commuter option.

Junior High Shootout: June 23rd-25th
For teams competing in grades 6-8. Each school should have a minimum of eight players (we recommend 10) and one member of its junior high basketball staff who will coach and supervise the team. Resident or commuter option.
