Bolivar, MO. - This week SBU is celebrating National Girls and Women in Sports Day. SBU celebrates this day and reflects on the incredible achievements that were made in female sports. This annual event was established in 1987 to promote gender equality in sports. Today is a sign of the progress the athletic world has made and the challenges females have overcome. SBU's women's teams have also become very accomplished. The teams include: Basketball, Beach volleyball, Cross country, Soccer, Softball, Stunt/Cheer, Tennis, Track & Field, and Volleyball.
