Bolivar, Mo. - For the third straight year, the Southwest Baptist University women's tennis team has been selected into the NCAA Women's Tennis Tournament.

After an impressive 21-1 (11-0 MIAA) season which included claiming the regular season (2nd straight year) and MIAA post-season tournament (3rd straight year) championships, the Bearcats have earned the #1 seed in the Central Region of the bracket.

The Bearcats are set to host the Vikings of Augustana who went 21-2 while claiming the Northern Sun conference title this season. The winner of the Southwest Baptist vs. Augustana match will advance to the Sweet 16 to be played in Surprise, Arizona on May 8.

The match will take place at the John Bryant Tennis Complex on the campus of Southwest Baptist University, with the date and time still to be determined.
