Bolivar, Mo. - Senior outfielder Tyler Christophel and sophomore catcher Drew Miller have both been named 2nd team All-Region for the 2012 season. Christophel was named to the 2012 Daktronics All-South Central Regional Second Team while Miller was named to the 2012 NCBWA All-South Central Regional Team.

Christophel and Miller both had record setting years for the Bearcats. Christophel set the SBU school records for runs scored (56) while also leading the MIAA in runs scored and stolen bases (38). Christophel led the Bearcats in homeruns (4), hits (63), and was second on the team in batting average (.346).

Miller led the Bearcats in multiple categories including: batting average (.382), hits (63), RBI's (45), slugging percentage (.473), and on base percentage (.436).
