Bolivar, Mo. - The Southwest Baptist University Bearcats Volleyball Coaching Staff is offering three different camps this summer to help focus on improving individual play or team play at different age levels. The five camps that SBU Volleyball offers are: Junior High Individual Camp, High School Individual Camp, Team Training Camp, Mini Volleyball (Ages 7-9), and Mini Volleyball (Ages 10-13).

Junior High Individual Camp, $75:
- May 21-23, 6:00-8:00 pm
- For girls entering grades 6-8
- Commuter only
- Registration begins May 21 at 5:30 pm
- Includes t-shirt

Instruction will focus on efficient techniques of
fundamental skills including serving, passing,
setting, attacking, and digging to provide a
strong foundation for young players.

High School Individual Camp, $75:
- May 31, 6:00-8:00 pm
- June 1, 9:00 am-12:00 pm
- For girls entering grades 9-12
- Commuter only
- Registration begins May 31 at 5:15 pm
- Includes t-shirt

Instruction will enhance fundamental skills with
emphasis on improving ball control, correct
movement techniques, and increasing volleyball
IQ.

Mini Volleyball, $50:
- June 23: Ages 10-13
- June 24: Ages 7-9
- Sessions are 10:00 am - 12:00 pm; 1:30-3:30 pm
- Commuter only
- Includes t-shirt

Mini Volleyball is the perfect introduction for kids to the game of volleyball. Camp will be a series of games to teach the basics of volleyball tailored to the age group. Training techniques include smaller courts, lower nets, competition through cooperation, and lots of FUN!

Team Training Camp, June 8-10:
- $75 per player in rosters of 9 or more
- $675 per team in rosters of 8 or less
- Coaches attend free of charge
- June 8: Scrimmage Training Session
- June 9: Morning Scrimmage Training; Afternoon Pool Play
- June 10: Bracket Play
- Coaches Roundtable on June 9
- Commuter only; affordable lodging available in SBU dorms
- Check in begins June 8 at 1:00 pm; camp ends June 10 by 4:00 pm
- Includes t-shirt

Teams will receive training through competitive scrimmage drills led by SBU camp staff. At registration, and again upon arrival, detailed itineraries will be provided. This is a commuter camp. If desired, teams may book lodging through the SBU dorms for a low rate. Coaches will be responsible for supervision after all camp sessions are over.

Location:
All sessions will be held on the campus of
Southwest Baptist University in the air
conditioned Meyer Wellness Center. Camp
facilities are the same as those used by SBU
volleyball student-athletes.

What To Bring:
Dress in comfortable athletic clothes. Knee pads
are recommended. Water will be available but
campers are welcome to bring a personal water
bottle.

Deposits:
All deposits are non-refundable. No refunds will
be given 2 weeks prior to the start of camp on
remaining fees except with a doctor's note.
