Bolivar, Mo. - Southwest Baptist University Athletics and Creator Designs have teamed up to sponsor the “Tees for Threes” promotion for the nine remaining Men's and Women's basketball games. “SBU Athletics appreciates the continued support from Creator Designs for helping sponsor this promotion. It's exciting to know that our teams can now light up the nets and help children in need at the same time,” said SBU Assistant Athletic Director
Chris Martin.
For every three-point basket that is made by an SBU player, one t-shirt will be thrown into the crowd and one t-shirt will be donated to Hopegivers International, an organization set up to help orphan children throughout the world. The SBU men are ranked 2nd in the country averaging 11.1 three-point baskets, while the women are ranked 49th averaging 6.4 three-point baskets per game. “Creator Designs is excited to sponsor the 'Tees for Threes' promotion knowing that it helps add excitement to the game, while most importantly, helps orphan children in need,” said Creator Designs owner Dwain Banner.
T-Shirts will also be available to purchase for $2 per shirt. The money will be donated to Hopegivers International. Interested fans can contact an SBU Athletics representative for more information.
