From Mountain Grove, Missouri, Karrie played basketball for SBU for four seasons (1989-1993). She was the first SBU player to be named to the All-MIAA first team and the first Bearcat to lead the MIAA in scoring (18.6). She was named Women’s Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) All- American. She is also SBU’s all time leader scorer (1,681 points); field goals (677); field goal attempt (1,463), and blocked shots (112), she is also ranked fifth in rebounds (680). Karrie had 252 career assists and shot .463 from the field; .752 from the free throw line; and .282 (11-39) from three point field goal range in 110 career games. She has 106 career starts and holds school single-season record for field goals (213 in 1991-92). She is ranked second in field goals attempted (432) and points (521). She also holds top single season two marks for blocked shots (37 in 1989-90 and 39 in 1991-92).
